Joining Aesthete in 2026, Whina brings one of the most extensive and diverse clinical backgrounds within the organisation, spanning advanced aesthetic medicine, skin health, regenerative medicine and hair restoration.
As Aesthete’s most diversely trained aesthetic nurse, her contribution extends across a broad spectrum of skin health and age-management concerns. Her work encompasses advanced aesthetic medicine, regenerative skin therapies and technology-based interventions, supporting the management of increasingly complex presentations and a diverse range of age-related concerns.
Areas of focus include cumulative sun damage, structural ageing, collagen depletion, hormonal skin ageing, peri-menopausal and post-menopausal skin change, regenerative skin health, hair loss and skin function optimisation. This extensive clinical scope supports comprehensive consultation, sophisticated assessment and complex treatment planning, allowing skin health, regenerative medicine and advanced aesthetic medicine to be considered together within a single treatment strategy.
A Bachelor of Nursing graduate from Unitec Institute of Technology, Auckland, Whina’s career spans tertiary healthcare, nursing leadership and advanced aesthetic medicine. Her professional appointments include Associate Nurse Unit Manager roles at Monash Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, together with positions within some of Melbourne and Brisbane’s most established aesthetic medicine clinics.
