A Registered Nurse of more than 23 years, Janette holds a Bachelor of Nursing from La Trobe University and completed postgraduate studies in Cosmetic Nursing through the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science.

Her professional career spans emergency, regional and remote healthcare, tertiary hospital environments throughout Australia and clinical education with Victoria University, before transitioning into aesthetic medicine more than a decade ago.

A commitment to ongoing education and the pursuit of higher standards within aesthetic medicine led to early recognition within the profession, including appointment as Queensland Representative on a national cosmetic nursing advisory council in 2017 and recognition as a National Top 3 Finalist for Cosmetic Injector of the Year in 2018.

In 2019, Janette established Aesthete as a solo practice. Since then, the organisation has grown organically into the award-winning derm-aesthetic and wellness destination it is today, receiving local, national and international recognition, including Best Medispa Asia Pacific within its first three years of operation.

Janette oversees the strategic direction, growth and expansion of Aesthete, including the development of a future-focused private healthcare model that draws influence from leading international institutions across aesthetic medicine, longevity, preventative health and specialist medical care.

Janette continues to personally consult and treat a select number of existing patients on designated clinic days.
