Vascular Correction & Skin Clarity

Advanced long-pulsed Nd:YAG vascular laser technology selectively targets unwanted superficial blood vessels while preserving surrounding skin.

Suitable for facial redness, telangiectasia (broken capillaries), vascular lesions and selected leg veins, treatment may progressively improve overall skin clarity and visible vascular change.

Treatment recommendations are guided by consultation, assessment and advanced skin analysis, ensuring vascular concerns are considered within the context of overall skin health and long-term treatment objectives.

THE AESTHETE APPROACH

Healthy skin extends beyond what is visible.

At Aesthete, vascular concerns are assessed alongside pigmentation, inflammation, barrier function and overall skin quality. Rather than treating visible vessels alone, treatment recommendations consider pigmentation, inflammation, skin quality and the underlying factors influencing long-term skin health.

Vascular Laser may be integrated with prescription skincare, LED Phototherapy and complementary technologies where clinically appropriate.

VASCULAR LASER FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Vascular Laser is commonly used to treat facial redness, broken capillaries (telangiectasia), spider veins, cherry angiomas and selected superficial vascular lesions. Following consultation and assessment, treatment recommendations are tailored according to the type, depth and location of the vessels being treated.

By selectively targeting unwanted blood vessels, Vascular Laser may improve persistent redness, visible vessels and overall skin clarity. As vascular concerns reduce, many patients also notice a more even complexion and healthier skin appearance.

Treatment is most commonly performed on the face, neck and chest for vascular redness and broken capillaries, and may also be suitable for selected superficial leg veins and vascular lesions elsewhere on the body. Suitability is determined during consultation.

Most patients describe treatment as a brief warming sensation or the feeling of a light elastic band against the skin. The procedure is generally well tolerated and typically does not require topical anaesthetic.

Treatment recommendations vary according to the size, depth and number of vessels being treated. While some vascular lesions respond after a single treatment, most patients achieve optimal outcomes through a personalised course of treatments incorporated within a broader skin health plan.

Smaller vessels may fade within several weeks following treatment, while larger or more established vascular concerns often improve progressively over a series of sessions. Skin clarity continues to improve as the body naturally clears the treated vessels.

Successfully treated vessels do not typically return. However, new vessels may develop over time due to genetics, sun exposure, rosacea, hormonal influences or the natural ageing process. Long-term skin health strategies and maintenance treatments may help minimise recurrence.

Most patients experience minimal downtime. Temporary redness, mild swelling or warmth may occur immediately following treatment and usually resolves within several hours to a few days, depending on the area treated.

At Aestheté, Vascular Laser is rarely performed in isolation. Treatment may be integrated with prescription skincare, LED Phototherapy, HydraFacial®, High Tech Facials and other complementary technologies to improve treatment outcomes while supporting long-term skin health.

As a precaution, Vascular Laser treatment is generally not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Alternative treatment options may be discussed where appropriate.

Following treatment, it is important to protect the skin from ultraviolet exposure, maintain hydration and follow the personalised aftercare instructions provided by your clinician. Prescription skincare and active ingredients may need to be temporarily adjusted while the skin recovers.

Effective vascular treatment requires more than advanced technology. At Aestheté, every treatment begins with comprehensive consultation, skin analysis and clinical assessment to understand the underlying factors contributing to vascular change. Treatment pathways are individually designed to improve visible vessels while supporting healthier, stronger skin over the long term.
